What a nice sun rise this morning. I made some coffee right here with my new camping coffee maker. It is designed for climbers working a cup some thousand feet up I guess. I would never climb up some rock. Heck I was reading that this climber parked along the freeway in Colorado and went climbing as you will see lots of that happening there. Anyway when he returned and got back in his car, a boulder rolled off the hill and smashed him. He must have pissed of that mountain.

Let Berlin Opera's `Idomeneo' Be Seen, Not Banned Out of Fear

Sept. 28 (Bloomberg) -- Mozart's ``Idomeneo'' has probably had more press in the past three days than in the entire 226 years since it was written.
As the fuss escalates around an imagined Islamic threat and the Deutsche Oper Berlin's ill-conceived decision this week to cancel its planned revival of the opera, the 24-year-old Salzburg boy's first mature ``opera seria'' is being forced into a role that would have astonished its composer.
Of course, the fuss is about Hans Neuenfels's production, not about one of the most radically experimental operas that Mozart wrote. Yet would one be possible without the other? You may have heard that Neuenfels's staging involves the beheading of Jesus, Mohammed, Buddha and Poseidon. What about the rest of the evening?
