Three Pendleton Marines face court-martial in Iraqi's death
SAN DIEGO – Three U.S. Marines will face a general court-martial on murder and other charges in connection with the death of an Iraqi civilian last spring in Hamdania, the Marines announced Monday at Camp Pendleton.
Lt. Gen. James Mattis, commander of the Marines forces assigned to the U.S. Central Command, ordered the courts-martial following Article 32 hearings, according to a statement released by the Marines Corps.
