A safe place to sheep error......sleep

"Welcome to the hotel California ,you and check in anytime but you can never leave"

This is a good thing although I am sure they will not award me with camping out behind ol Starbucks. Oh well it will get more of the homeless gathered like cattle. I am not cattle.

I remember living in the streets of San Jose. There we three shelters there to help out although one the Julian Homeless Shelter was like the Hotel California and even looked like it in side and out. There was a big corridor too just like the album. The only way you could check in at the front desk was to declare a mental illness. This would get you a month’s stay with a bunk, TV room and a hug kitchen and chores. Although after declaring the mental illness had its drawbacks. First you would have to see the onsite Psycho the Rapist error... Psychotherapist... She would then declare you mental state then prescribe you some drugs. Then on Tuesday the drug wagon would pull up and all the people would line up like cattle to get their fix. Later you would see then in a vegetable state glaring at the TV in the big fun room.

I do remember this young couple came in from that cold San Jose's August and needed a place to stay so they could get back on there feet. The only way they could stay there was to declare mental disorder and so they did. A week later I saw them both in the TV room in a vegetable state. They became like cattle. I never took my meds thank goodness. I would flush them. I have always liked my beer rather. Soon after that I moved on down to San Diego. I ofteen wonder how many are still stuck in the Julian Steet homeless shelter corral being stuck on all those meds. Even the young coulple who got traped in the system of sheep.

S.D. could assign areas where homeless would avoid ticketsIn a city where sleeping on the streets often means dodging police who ticket the homeless for illegal lodging, a plan is under way to establish designated zones where the indigent could bed down without fear of jail or fines.SignOnSanDiego.com > News > Metro -- 'A safe place to sheep'
